Recently, a tall bamboo-woven giant panda appeared on the Fuhe River beside Chengdu Huoshui Park.

In the middle of the river, the "giant panda" holds a "bamboo pole" in both hands as a balance beam, swaying with the breeze on the steel cable across the two banks, seemingly walking cautiously.

It is understood that the art installation, called "Balance Chengdu", was created by Liu Yang, the chief designer of the Beijing 2008 Olympic medal "Golden Inlaid Jade", and invited Yang Longmei, the inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage.
