Former AS Bondy midfielder, Wilfrid Mbappé will travel to Qatar for the World Cup with his son Kylian Mbappé, star of the competition.

The 51-year-old man has indeed accepted a proposal from Congolese television to be a consultant.

He will deliver his expertise alongside former football glories.

He will thus deliver his expertise for the New World Sport channel.

It is the only channel that has the rights to broadcast the World Cup, in French, in the French-speaking countries of sub-Saharan Africa.

The channel's content manager is none other than Christian Jeanpierre, the former journalist, commentator, ousted from TF1 in 2020.

 Wilfrid Mbappé, who passed through AS Bondy, should take on a consulting role alongside former football glories such as Emmanuel Adebayor, Basile Boli or Bonaventure Kalou.

It is in exactly 58 days that the French team will officially begin the defense of its world title in Qatar with a first match against Australia, scheduled for November 22.

The match will be broadcast at 8 p.m. in France.
