For Li Jiacai, who lives in the urban area of Dianjiang County, Chongqing, the biggest change in his life in the past year is that he has returned to his hometown to go to the market more often, because "it only takes ten minutes to drive to Changzhen, and it is very convenient to eat earthy flavors. ".

And before July 2021, this is something that the Li family can't even think about.

He remembered that in the early years, his family would often go out at seven or eight o'clock when they went to the market, and could only return home at one o'clock in the afternoon.

The reporter recently walked into Dianjiang, Chongqing for an interview and learned that with the official opening of the local S415 southern expressway, the rugged trails have changed their appearance, and the 30-kilometer-long road has extended the happiness of people's lives.

According to reports, the S415 Southern Expressway is one of the ten sub-projects of the construction project of Dianjiang East New District, the first new urbanization PPP project in Chongqing. It is the largest investment scale, the highest road grade and the longest mileage in the history of Dianjiang County. traffic engineering.

The project is a first-class highway standard, connecting 7 towns and towns along the way, Huangsha, Gaofeng, Wudong, Chengxi, Yantai, Heyou and Baijia, and integrated into the key road network of Dianjiang County's "14th Five-Year Plan" transportation plan.

Lu Shaotuan, the project contractor and director of the Dianjiang Project Department of Energy China Gezhouba Three Gorges Construction Company, said that the overall design of the S415 southern expressway is 19 meters wide, with four lanes in both directions and a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour.

The construction content includes roadbed and pavement, bridges and culverts, environmental protection and landscape engineering, traffic safety facilities, etc.

Among them, there are 6 bridges on the whole line and 102 culverts.

As the main road in the southern mountainous area of Dianjiang County, the southern expressway has greatly improved the travel conditions for people in the mountainous area. The most intuitive performance is to shorten the distance between the southern Dianjiang township and the county town from the previous two hours to half an hour.

What is little known is that the construction of the project lasted two years, which was completed and opened to traffic nine months earlier than the original construction period.

"During the construction process, we faced many difficulties, but fortunately we have overcome them one by one." Lu Shaotuan said that from the perspective of geographical environment, the project has a long front line, many points and wide areas, passing through low mountains and hilly landforms. The slope is steep and bends sharply, and many terrains are prone to landslides and collapse; from the perspective of climatic conditions, there is a lot of rain during the critical period of construction, and even floods occur. In order to rush the construction period, workers often "dry with heavy rain, dry with light rain, and dry on sunny days" to fight.

In the memory of Gan Renqiang, director of the technical department of the project department, the most difficult point of construction is in the Sunjiagou area. The highest drop in this area is 155 meters, and the amount of earth and stone works exceeds 1.1 million cubic meters. At most, more than 30 excavators work together; After playing "first chess" and drawing a "battle map", he and his team, led by the villagers of Sunjiagou, literally cut a survey road with a sickle.

"Many villagers said that this road has been planned for many years and has been looking forward to for many years." Gan Renqiang told reporters that when he saw the villagers beating gongs and drums to celebrate the opening of the road, his sense of accomplishment was swept away and exhausted.

In the early autumn season, the crape myrtle in the center of the southern expressway is swaying in the wind, and the cars are galloping forward on the straight road. A new picture of ecological beauty, industrial prosperity, and people's wealth is slowly unfolding.

Some people along the way shared with reporters the changes brought by the road to their lives: Tao Wuhong, a villager in Heyou Town, who has worked hard outside for many years, chose to work at his doorstep to take care of his elderly parents; Tao Zaizhong, a farmer from Tuanjie Village, went out of the village to sell crops. It takes one and a half hours, and the agricultural products in the village are sold more widely. He looks forward to eating "tourism meals" one day; 76-year-old Tao Qingshu goes to the county to see a doctor, and it doesn't take another day to spend another day, and his grandchildren can stay for a while when they go home...

"Before the fast-track construction started, we were very optimistic about the future development of our hometown, and we returned to our hometown to start a business with our savings and nostalgia." In early 2020, Li Hong, head of Chongqing Heran Cheerful Ecotourism Development Co., Ltd. In Fenzhou Village, Heyou Town, an ecological park covering an area of 1,500 mu has been established.

In the summer after the S415 southern expressway was opened to traffic, the ecological park received more than 70,000 tourists.

Li Hong plans to continue to expand the scale of the park, enrich the tourism form, and enhance the added value of agricultural products. Using this "development path", it will help rural revitalization and drive villagers to increase their incomes and become rich.
