Celebrities including British pop star Ed Sheeran and basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal have agreed to put their items for sale online with the aim of raising funds and providing them to the World Health Organization in Ukraine.

Seven months after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the World Health Organization Foundation, an organization that supports the organization's efforts to address the world's most pressing health challenges, launched the "Human Kind" online store yesterday, which enables celebrity fans to win their collectibles.

The foundation indicated in a statement that "the funds raised will be used to support the work of the World Health Organization in Ukraine and neighboring countries," hoping to raise $53.7 million.

In addition to Ed Sheeran and basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, other artists and athletes have supported the move, including British singer Ellie Goulding, pop star Harry Styles and artist Shepard Ferry, and boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko.

The famous British singer Annie Lennox, who donated two pairs of her sunglasses, encouraged "everyone to do what they can to support the Ukrainian people."

"Seven months after the start of this tragic war, Ukrainians are increasingly in need of emergency medical care across the country," said WHO Foundation Director-General Anil Soni. "We have to meet the urgent health needs of those affected" by the war.
