At around 0:56 am on the 24th, at the "Maruha Nichiro Hiroshima Factory" in Ebaoki-cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima, an employee reported to the fire department that "the cooking equipment was on fire."



About 30 fire engines and other vehicles were dispatched to fight the fire, and it was almost extinguished at 6:00 pm, about 17 hours later.



According to police, about 50 employees were in the factory at the time of the fire, but no one was injured in the fire.



According to the company, this factory was making frozen foods such as fried foods.
