A new feature on Tik Tok... keeps book lovers on the platform!

The Tik Tok platform has launched a new feature that adds a new dimension to book lovers on the platform. 

The hashtag #BookTok, which Twitter users add to their discussions and book recommendations, is one of the most popular hashtags on Twitter with more than 77 billion views worldwide. 

So, TikTok decided to invest in this "great community" by partnering with Penguin Random House to launch a new feature, now in the US and UK, that allows users to share and follow their favorite books.

Users can now link books from Penguin Random House within their videos via an electronic link. 

When users click on the link, they are directed to a page with details about the book, a brief synopsis and a bunch of other videos linked to the same book. 

With this feature, users won't have to open a separate app or search engine to search for book details if the clip creator has linked it to the book.

Also, since the feature will show other videos related to the same book, users will be able to see more comments about the title from other users of the #BookTok hashtag.

TikTok users in the US and UK can now access the feature by clicking 'Add Link' and searching for 'Books' before posting their video. 

Users can tag any Penguin Random House book, and once the video is posted, the selected book will appear above the captions.
