A magical spectacle was offered to those present in the harbor of Brest (Finistère) on Monday.

A group of twenty or thirty dolphins was evolving near the Térénez bridge in the evening, reports Ouest France.

The cetaceans have been present for a few days in the area, probably looking for food.

"They did not arrive here by chance," confirms Sami Hassani, director of the Association for the Conservation of Marine Mammals and Birds in Brittany (ACMOM).

“They certainly followed a school of fish.

Groups of dolphins had already been observed in 2017 and 2019 in the harbor of Brest.

This summer, the ACMOM, hosted in Océanopolis, launched a census campaign of marine mammals in the region.

Anyone who has observed a cetacean can fill out a form to inform the association.
