Gunma Prefecture announced on the 21st that 1,290 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and one death was confirmed.
That's 148 fewer than last Wednesday's 1,438.
On the other hand, the prefecture has withdrawn the two people announced on the 17th and 18th of this month.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 229,919, of which 462 died.
