For the first time, the 58-year-old, "largely self-taught" actor, exhibited nine works, in a joint exhibition with renowned British sculptor Thomas Houseago, but also another famous debutant, Australian rock star Nick Cave, at the Sara Hildén Art Museum in Tampere, Finland's third largest city.
Among Brad Pitt's works, a large molded plaster panel representing a shooting or a series of silicone sculptures in the shape of a house, hit by bullets of different calibers, lodged in the plastic.

To the great surprise of a Finland unaccustomed to visits from Hollywood stars, the actor made an appearance on Saturday September 17 at the exhibition, along with Nick Cave.
"Nick and I are entering a new world and we like it," the actor told Finnish television Yle, who didn't know he would be there.
"For me, it's a form of introspection. It's about knowing the mistakes I made in my relationships, where I made a misstep," said the star.
The exhibition had only been announced as the first in the Nordic countries of the sculptor and painter Thomas Houseago, one of the figures of modern sculpture.
Everyone was unaware of the participation of Brad Pitt and Nick Cave.
It was the context of the pandemic and "events in the personal life of Thomas Houseago", which decided the artist to invite his friends, explained to AFP Sarianne Soikkonen, the curator of the Sara Hildén Art Museum. .
