  Liu Lianjun, 62, is a martial artist in Qing County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province.

In 1973, 12-year-old Liu Lianjun took Bajiquan master Sun Futai as his teacher and began to learn Bajiquan, thirteen-section whip, meteor hammer and other martial arts.

With his love for martial arts, Liu Lianjun gradually emerged in national competitions.

In the following years, he has successively created 24 sets of Baji Boxing Equipment, and also created a simplified version of Baji series routines according to the physical characteristics of different age groups.

Liu Lianjun's obsession and research on martial arts has also gained many "foreign fans". Martial arts enthusiasts from Russia, Switzerland and Spain have come to Qingxian to learn Bajiquan from him.

In order to better inherit and develop Chinese martial arts at home and abroad, he now teaches Bajiquan skills to martial arts lovers every day, and communicates Chinese martial arts with foreign martial arts lovers through online platforms.
