Li Pan, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Health and Health Commission, said that after the monkeypox outbreak, the Municipal Health and Health Commission, under the guidance of experts from the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, organized municipal experts to rush to the scene to guide epidemiological investigations, sampling and testing, environmental protection Disinfection of items, etc.
Up to now, all close contacts of the case have implemented isolation medical observation measures.
According to the national "Monkeypox Prevention and Control Technical Guidelines (2022 Edition)", the isolation medical observation period is 21 days.
At present, all close contacts have been tested for monkeypox nucleic acid, and the results are all negative.
According to the comprehensive research and judgment of national and municipal experts, the case entered Chongqing and underwent closed-loop transfer and centralized isolation. There was no social activity trajectory, and the risk of epidemic transmission was low.
