On the morning of September 15, China and South Korea solemnly held a ceremony for the burial of the remains of the ninth batch of Chinese People's Volunteers in South Korea martyrs in Incheon, South Korea.

Chang Zhengguo, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of China, led the Chinese handover delegation, relevant personnel of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, and relevant personnel of the South Korean Ministry of National Defense and its affiliated remains excavation and identification team to attend the ceremony.

  In the "Temporary Place for the Remains of Chinese People's Volunteers Martyrs" in Incheon, flower baskets presented by the Chinese handover delegation and the Chinese Embassy in South Korea to pay tribute to the Chinese People's Volunteers Martyrs were placed on site. Bow three times and offer flowers.

Afterwards, the Korean staff carried the remains of the volunteer martyrs.

China and South Korea will hold a ceremony to hand over the remains at Incheon International Airport on the 16th.

  China and the ROK have followed the humanitarian principle, and in the spirit of candid friendship and pragmatic cooperation, have successfully handed over the remains of 825 Chinese People's Volunteers in South Korea for eight consecutive years from 2014 to 2021.

This year is the ninth handover implemented in accordance with the consensus reached by China and South Korea. The South Korean side will return the remains of 88 martyrs and related relics to the Chinese side.
