As fans eagerly await the fifth and final season of
Stranger Things
, Maya Hawke is already thinking about what's next for the small town of Hawkins.
The interpreter of Robin Buckley in the series even has an idea for a spin-off.
A spin-off series featuring Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, his character's best friend.
“I wouldn't normally be in the front line for a spin-off, but if I have to do one with Joe Keery, I'll do anything.
He is so funny, wonderful and smart.
He's a great colleague and I would do anything with him,” she told
Rolling Stone
.
A moment of glory
Nevertheless, Maya Hawke does not lose sight that her character could just as well die in season 5. However, she admits that it is unlikely, as the creators of
Stranger Things
, the Duffer brothers, "are in love with the characters and of their actors.
And for this reason, "they don't want to kill them".
What must be a relief for the fans is however a small disappointment for the actress.
“I would love for my character to die to have my moment of glory.
I would like to die with honors, as any actor would, ”said Maya Hawke.
