The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office has not prosecuted two women who were arrested on suspicion of theft last month for stealing cash from a restaurant customer at an ATM in the downtown area of Kita-ku, Tokyo.
Two Chinese women, aged 34 and 45, took male restaurant customers to an ATM in a convenience store in downtown Kita-ku, Tokyo, and made them withdraw a total of 1.3 million yen. Last month, he was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of theft.
The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office decided not to indict the two on the 13th.
The reason for the non-prosecution was not disclosed.
