"Who's there?"

The heroes of the action-packed film almanac "Who's There?", including an airplane pilot, a trainee policeman, a young mother and daughter, and a billionaire, must face their fears and decide whether to open the door when a stranger knocks on it.

The picture consists of five short stories, each of which explores some kind of human fear.

The directors were debutants in feature films Vladimir Maslov and Vitaly Dudka, as well as Mikhail Morskov ("Kitchen. The War for the Hotel").

The roles were played by Vladimir Mashkov, Alexandra Bortich, Kirill Kyaro, Alexander Samoilenko and other actors.

According to one of the directors, the situations in which the characters find themselves can happen to anyone in real life, "and this makes the skin go cold."

"The idea of ​​'Who's there?'

— thinking about various phobias: fear of death, loneliness, schizophrenia, fear of strangers and violence — we think it will resonate with the audience, because these are inner experiences familiar to everyone,” says Vladimir Maslov.

The tape was filmed in a single-frame format, unusual for Russian cinema.

According to Mikhail Morskov, this technique allows the viewer to fully immerse themselves in what is happening on the screen.

"Tiber"

In the mystical thriller "Tiber", the main role was played by the daughter of actress Yulia Peresild and director Alexei Uchitel Anna.

Previously, the young artist took part in the filming of the films "Draft" and "First Snow".

In the center of the plot is a 13-year-old girl nicknamed Muka.

Peers constantly bully her, at school she is considered an outcast because of a rare genetic disease - albinism, which is characterized by a lack of melanin in the hair, eyes and skin.

However, everything changes after the mysterious disappearance of one of the schoolgirls, witnessed by Muka.

From that moment on, strange things begin to happen to her: everything that she prophesies to anyone happens in reality.

The director of the project was Anna Goroyan.

This is the first feature film in her career.

The director hopes that her film will help young viewers and their parents understand themselves.

“Before starting any project, it is important for me to answer the question “Why?”.

Growing up stories will always be relevant.

Every child and their parents go through this difficult stage.

And if a film appears that will help both of them to look at themselves from the outside, to reconsider their views and actions, then this work has not been done in vain, ”Vokrug TV quotes the director.

"Nedetsky house"

The plot of the film by Mikhail Raskhodnikov is inspired by the non-children's house book.

Its author, Andrei Petrushin, worked as a psychiatrist in an orphanage for two years, where he collected materials for the work. 

The picture tells about how difficult it is for orphans to live in far from childish conditions and how difficult it is sometimes for adults to communicate with such children.

“We want the film to sound not only like a statement, but also to help those children who are brought up in orphanages.

The mission of the film is to draw attention to the problem and open the heart of every viewer, ”TV Mag quotes the director.

The cast included Ivan Okhlobystin, Alexander Panin, Polina Vataga and others.

Children from foster families also participated in the work on the film.

The plot unfolds in an orphanage, the director of which sets strict rules to combat chaos and lawlessness.

New Inna does not agree with the methods of education: she will fight for justice with all her might.

The first screening of the tape took place as part of the 44th Moscow International Film Festival.

"Kat"

In the center of the plot of Boris Akopov's new painting "Kat" is a young escort who has recently become a mother.

She gave birth to a child from a married musician and brings up one.

The heroine begins to think about how to live differently, but life's difficulties force her to return to the profession.

Kat is faced with a choice - to continue her journey in the dangerous world of an escort or to completely immerse herself in motherhood.

Along with the main storyline, the director offers a look at people from different fields of activity.

Among them are actors from the Bolshoi Theatre, a military man, policemen, and a doctor.

The director and screenwriter of the film, Boris Akopov, a former ballet dancer, noted that some of the scenes associated with the theater were based on his feelings accumulated during the service.

The picture participated in the main competition of the 44th Moscow International Film Festival, where it was awarded a special mention by the jury.

"Brother and Sister" (Frère et soeur)

"Jeepers Creepers: Reborn" (Jeepers Creepers: Reborn)

According to legend, the Creeper returns every 23 years to feed on the flesh of frightened people.

And although only five years have passed since the release of Jeepers Creepers 3, the authors of the franchise decided that it was time to return the mysterious monster to the screens.

The revival of the Creeper marks the beginning of a new trilogy.

The plot revolves around a guy and a girl who went to the Horror Hound Festival in Louisiana.

Lane, the main character, was initially afraid to go there due to constant disturbing visions.

As a result, the heroes still go there and win the opportunity to visit the horror quest supposedly in the old house.

It is there, in a claustrophobic room, that the festival's most notorious supernatural killer will be slaughtered.

According to Collider, the film will be significantly different from the previous trilogy, the first part of which was released in 2001.
