Akita Prefecture and Akita City announced on the 11th that 562 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 90,584 people were confirmed to be infected in Akita Prefecture.
The prefecture also newly announced that one person died after being infected with the new coronavirus.
With this, 190 people have died from confirmed infections in the prefecture.
