A total of six articles were selected for this year's Newspaper Association Awards, which are given to excellent reporting.
The winners of the Japan Newspaper Publishers and Editors Association Award were:
▽Asahi Shimbun's series of reports on the fraud of key statistics by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism,
▽Yomiuri Shimbun's series of reports on corruption scandals surrounding the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and
▽Abe .
Mainichi Shimbun's photographic coverage of the shooting incident of the former Prime
Minister

▽A total of 6 reports from Shizuoka Shimbun, which examined the background of the debris flow disaster that occurred in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture

The award ceremony will be held on the 18th of next month at a newspaper convention held in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
