Based on the resident population of 24.871 million in Shanghai, there is one museum per 157,000 people, which is higher than the national average of one museum per 250,000 people; based on the area of 6340.5 square kilometers in Shanghai, there is one museum per 40.2 square kilometers, which is higher than the national average. The triangle area ranks first.
In 2021, the total collection of Shanghai's museums will be 2.24 million pieces/set, including 216,000 pieces/set of precious cultural relics (first-, second-, and third-level cultural relics in the collection); 64,000 pieces/set of collections will be displayed in museum exhibitions, digital With a collection of 826,500 pieces/set, the cultural relics hidden in the "deep boudoir" can be brought into the public's cultural vision.
The total number of cultural and creative products developed in the museum has reached 72,158, and 58,685 cultural and creative products were newly developed throughout the year, with an annual sales of 111.796 million yuan, a record high.
The "Report" shows that in 2021, the Shanghai Museum will receive a total of 16.46 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 67.68%, accounting for 66.21% of Shanghai's permanent population.
