Sometimes I get the impression that Western cinema will soon stop producing films that tell the love story of a man and a woman.

After all, this is unlikely to give a prestigious film award.

So middle-aged directors and actors have to play the agenda in their old age.

Take at least the fresh Venice festival.

Penelope Cruz plays in the film, where the plot centers on the woman Clara, whose 12-year-old girl suddenly declares that she is a boy.

Darren Aronofsky directed the film in which Charlie, a 600-pound, middle-aged, disabled man, attempts to reconnect with his 17-year-old daughter.

He left his family for a gay lover who later died.

And these are far from all the films of the program, where the LGBT theme is at the center of the plot.

Laughter with laughter, but even in Russia, attempts are being made to pump out frank propaganda of non-traditional values.

This is especially true of LGBT propaganda among minors.

Formally, we have a law that prohibits it.

The de facto publishers of gay teen literature easily bypass it by slapping the 18+ badge on books.

Naturally, in book chains, no one usually asks for a passport when buying books, and gay teen literature is often in a conspicuous place, in the "Bestsellers" section.

Again, these books are easy to order online.

Thus, the book “Summer in a Pioneer Tie”, which tells about the same-sex love of a counselor and a pioneer, became one of the highest-grossing teen novels of the past year, was printed in 200,000 copies and was accompanied by an aggressive marketing campaign with fan merch and stickers.

Today, the continuation of this gay melodrama “What the Swallow is Silent About” is being actively promoted among teenagers in the same way.

The book is already on the shelves of all major book chains.

In light of this, I very much hope that the State Duma of the Russian Federation will nevertheless adopt the bill submitted for consideration this summer by deputies from Crimea.

So, he suggests that the ban will now apply to everyone - regardless of age.

And getting rid of the 18+ marking will no longer work.

In addition, two new articles will be added, providing for liability for the promotion of pedophilia and for the dissemination of information to minors that demonstrates non-traditional sexual relations or preferences.

The punishment for LGBT propaganda is also becoming tougher: the third edition provides for a fine of up to 200,000 rubles for individuals and up to 2 million rubles for legal entities.

If the violation is committed on the Internet or in the media - the suspension of the resource for 90 days and a fine of up to 5 million rubles.

This is five times more than in the current version of the law.

It is time for Russia to declare itself a stronghold of conservative values, not only in words but also in deeds.

Especially when it comes to our children.

The point of view of the author may not coincide with the position of the editors.
