At present, the earthquake has caused the death of 4 people in Luding County and 3 people in Hailuogou Administration.
At 12:52 on September 5, an earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred near Moxi Town, Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a focal depth of 16 kilometers.
After the earthquake, the Ganzi Prefecture Earthquake Relief Headquarters immediately launched a level II emergency response.
Relevant departments of Sichuan Province have arrived in Luding and have rushed to the epicenter to guide and carry out earthquake relief work.
The main leaders of the Ganzi state party committee and state government also rushed to the front line to carry out emergency rescue.
Relevant state-level departments immediately entered an emergency state, and dispatched 635 rescue forces such as firefighting, medical treatment, communication power, and smooth traffic to carry out rescue work.
At present, the earthquake has caused the death of 4 people in Luding County and 3 people in the Hailuogou Administration Bureau. The damage to roads, communications and houses is under investigation.
