These statements came in light of the crisis caused by the Russian company Gazprom's announcement of the participation of the German company Siemens in the repair of the "Nord Stream" line, after it was suspended indefinitely due to technical malfunctions, but the German company denied receiving any request from Gazprom to repair the faults in the line.

Siemens and Berlin also confirmed that they were not the reason for Nordstream's discontinuation.

This comes amid calls for a ceiling on the price of Russian gas, and European confirmation that it is preparing for the worst.

On the other hand, the former adviser for energy policies in the European Union, Marco Giuli, said that Russia has been trying to use technical arguments since it began limiting gas pumping in 2021, indicating that all the reasons provided by Russia do not justify this significant decline in gas exports.
