Kochi Prefecture announced on the 2nd that 1016 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
In addition, one of the infected people announced on September 1 was withdrawn, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 87,062.
Kochi Prefecture also announced four new deaths in the prefecture.
