[Explanation] Xiang Xiaoting from Hong Kong is now the founder of a technology company in Guangzhou, dedicated to providing an intelligent and inclusive hearing aid solution for the hearing impaired.
This year, he participated in the 8th China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and won the Guangdong Provincial Gold Award.
[Commentary] Xiang Xiaoting told reporters that as a child of an ordinary family in Hong Kong, her initial idea was to have a university degree and find a stable job in Hong Kong.
However, in 2014, Xiang Xiaoting, who grew up in Hong Kong, resolutely left the city where she had lived for 19 years and set foot on the road of studying in Guangzhou alone, which gave her a new idea of life.

Because I am an advertising department, and then we had a class assignment, and then I made a very interesting video, and then my classmate invited me, and he asked me if you could stay here after graduation. A little fun thing, or don't go back to Hong Kong so quickly, in order to fill my time and find it fun, then I went to start a business with him, and there was no turning back.
[Explanation] After four years of starting a business, I have accumulated a certain amount of project operation experience.
In 2021, Xiang Xiaoting decided to start again. With anxiety and anticipation, she set her sights on the hot land of Nansha, Guangzhou. In 2021, she established a technology company here to provide inclusive intelligent hearing aids for the hearing impaired.

But in the process of research and development, we actually encountered many difficulties, because at the beginning, there were only a few of us. At that time, the hearing-impaired partner had not yet joined, so I was the only one with technical skills. If there is a version developed by other members of our team, in fact, two versions have been iterated, and then after it was developed, the product was given to our hearing-impaired partners to try, although their feedback was still quite good. OK, but not quite the version they had in mind.
[Explanation] Now, after one edition after another iteration, one after another entrepreneurial competition, the products developed by Xiang Xiaoting and her team have also passed the final internal test and can be officially launched into the market.

When this version is used by a hearing-impaired friend in our team, what he said touched me the most was that he heard the beeping of the mouse, and the very clear sound of the water flowing down, which is usually the case. Ordinary voice, it turns out that in their world, I have never heard it before. This is something that I was shocked by, and then he said something, and then made me think that it is meaningful for me to do this, he said We succeeded. His success does not mean that we succeeded in sales. He means that we may have succeeded in developing hearing aids in a small step. We can really help the hearing-impaired to improve their lives.
[Explanation] From starting a business with a play mentality to the current "out of control", Xiang Xiaoting said that she did not have a great vision. She just wanted to use hearing aids as an entry point, backed by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The development advantages of the district and provide better services for the hearing-impaired.

In our future plans, we also want to create a barrier-free community, because the data accumulated through our hearing aids is the data of some very real disabled people, and we can turn it into a barrier-free community.
On the other hand, in fact, we also hope to help the government to a large extent to build a barrier-free community, and secondly, to promote barrier-free social development from point to point.
[Explanation] Regarding the reason why she chose Nansha, Guangzhou as the starting point for her own business, Xiang Xiaoting said that Nansha's development prospects, policies and atmosphere of encouraging entrepreneurship have left a deep impression on her.
She also hopes to inspire young people from Hong Kong and Macau who are interested in starting businesses in Guangzhou through her personal experience, and encourage them to seize the opportunities of the development of the Greater Bay Area and bravely pursue their dreams.
