We won't take it twice!

Chris Rock has already passed the 2022 Oscars for the least complicated, so out of the question to do it again next year.

That's what he revealed during his new stand-up show last weekend in Phoenix, Arizona.

While his sketch took him on the subject of people who become famous after being victimized, the comic confided that the Academy of the Oscars had offered him to present the next ceremony.

But he preferred to refuse.

Without surprise.

Chris Rock then revealed that he was in real pain when he was slapped by Will Smith.

“He is much taller than me.

The State of Nevada would not approve of a boxing match between me and Will Smith,” he told the audience, laughing.

Go forward

The comedian also confided that he had refused to appear in an advertisement for the Super Bowl, whereas the latter are generally very lucrative for the stars who play the game. The Academy of Oscars has in any case announced that there was no plan to return to the incident that created the (bad) buzz this year.

“We want to move forward and have Oscars that celebrate cinema.

That's our goal right now, but it's really about moving forward,” Oscars new boss Bill Kramer
