The exhibition "Seeing the Heart of Heaven and Earth - The Intentions and Images of the Chinese Study" opened at the Palace Museum on the 29th.

105 fine cultural relics and 9 works of modern and contemporary artists from the Forbidden City will bring the audience a physical presentation of the study and the spiritual world of Chinese literati embodied in the Meridian Gate Exhibition Hall.

  The exhibition is divided into three units, namely "Wai Huai Qin Shu", "Zheng Yi Ming Dao" and "Frost Snow", Guo Shu Lu Zhong and Chen Chun's "Yueyang Tower", Mi Fu's running script "Lanting Preface and Postscript Zan", and Wen Zhengming's Running Script "The Inscription Scroll of the Shabby Room", Tang Yin's "Shuangjian Xingwo Map and Booklet", Wen Tianxiang's "Hongzhai Posting Scroll in Running Script", Mi Youren's "Xiaoxiang Wonders Scroll" and Yuanji's "Searching for Qifeng" A number of heavyweight cultural relics appeared in the exhibition one after another.

  The exhibition also restores the two study rooms of Emperor Qianlong for the first time, namely the "Five Classics Extraction Room" in Zhaoren Hall and "Xiangxue" in Xinuan Pavilion of Yangxing Hall.

The "Five Classics Collection Room" is named after the collection of "Yi", "Poems", "Books", "Rituals" and "Spring and Autumn" engraved by Yue Ke in the Song Dynasty; the Qianlong regular script "Five Classics Collection Room" plaque is hung above the exhibition site, and the "Five Classics Collection" is displayed below. "Records of the Room" Kang screen framed with red sandalwood, painted on both sides.

  It is reported that the exhibition will be on display at the Meridian Gate Exhibition Hall of the Palace Museum from August 30 to October 23.
