There were 164 new cases of asymptomatic infections (including 121 in Lhasa, 7 in Shigatse, 5 in Shannan, 2 in Nyingchi, 7 in Qamdo, 8 in Nagqu, and 14 in Ali area).
As of 24:00 on August 26, there were 578 high-risk areas and 275 medium-risk areas in the region.
Among the newly infected people on August 26, 53 cases were found in social screening, and 400 cases were found in isolation and control areas.
As of 24:00 on August 26, 190 people in the region have been cured and discharged, 3,532 asymptomatic infected persons have been released from isolation and medical observation (exiting the cabin), and 7,729 close contacts have been released from centralized isolation and observation.
At present, 55,452 people are under centralized quarantine and observation.
