In this regard, the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau stated yesterday that the cost of self-purchasing medicines at designated pharmacies is not included in the payment of basic medical insurance, but can be paid using their personal accounts (including mutual aid accounts) with social security cards.

  For the insured who purchases medicines with external prescription, the insured must hold the social security card and the external prescription issued by the designated hospital to buy medicine at the designated pharmacy.

Designated pharmacies download out-of-pocket prescription information through the medical insurance information system for medical insurance decomposition. The drug expenses within the scope of medical insurance are directly paid by the medical insurance fund, and the other self-paid or self-paid parts that need to be paid by individuals are paid through my personal account (including mutual aid account). ), and the shortfall shall be made up by the insured in cash.

When the insured uses the personal account to pay, he needs to enter the payment password of his personal account.

  For insured persons who purchase medicines on their own, the expenses incurred in purchasing medicines, medical equipment, and medical consumables at designated pharmacies are not included in the payment scope of basic medical insurance, but they can use their personal accounts (including mutual aid accounts) with their social security cards. Payment, and the shortfall shall be made up by the insured in cash.

Insured personnel need to enter their personal account payment password when using their personal account to pay.

  In addition, the insured personnel who use the medical insurance electronic certificate for medical settlement, because when applying for the medical insurance electronic certificate, the insured personnel have been authenticated by mobile phone binding, face recognition, etc. When paying with your account, you do not need to enter a password.

In order to prevent the personal account from being stolen after the social security card is lost, when the insured person uses the social security card for medical treatment and uses the personal account to pay, in the settlement of medical expenses and other scenarios, they need to enter the password.

In the outpatient and emergency registration link, when you use your personal account to pay for medical treatment with your social security card, you do not need to enter a password.

  The initial payment password of the personal account will be notified to the insured by Bank of Beijing via SMS, and the initial password can be used without activation.

The payment password can be modified through the medical insurance public service platform (website: https://fw.ybj.beijing.gov.cn/hallEnter), the official website of the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, or the window of the handling agency in each district. You can also set a limit to avoid passwords. pay.

When using a mutual aid account to settle medical expenses, you should enter your personal account payment password, not the payment password of other mutual aid accounts.

  If the insured person has entered the wrong password for 5 times on the same day, the password verification function will be locked for 24 hours, but the payment can still be completed through the medical insurance electronic certificate.

The insured can reset the password and unlock through the public service platform of medical insurance, the official website of the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau or the window of the handling agency in each district.

  The Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau also reminded that from December 1 this year, the mutual aid account function officially took effect.

When an insured person pays with an individual account, the personal account will be deducted first, and then the mutual aid account will be deducted.

The insufficient balance of the personal account (including mutual aid account) shall be paid by personal cash.
