It has been six days since a 2-year-old boy went missing in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.

On the 25th, the police and fire departments searched mainly for the river that flows around the house, but the search was difficult because no convincing clues were found.

The missing person is Reine Takashima (2), a nursery school child in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.

She was at her home with her mother and siblings shortly after 6:30pm on the 20th of this month when she disappeared and her mother called the police when she noticed.

Since the back door behind her house was ajar, it is believed that Reine went out alone when her family took their eyes off her.

On the 25th, the sixth day after her disappearance, 180 police and fire departments searched for her, focusing on the Sobo River and Naka River, which flowed around her home, and the Oyabe River where they converge.

Downstream of the Oyabe River, about 3 kilometers from her home, the police sent out rubber boats to investigate bushes and riverbeds along the river.

A private company that handles drones volunteered to search the Sobo River, using unmanned submersibles and underwater cameras and sensors to search inside the river.

So far, no strong clues leading to Reine's footsteps have been found, and the search has been difficult.

In addition, when the police investigated the security cameras installed in the houses around the house, there was no image that could confirm Reine's appearance.

Police continue to appeal for information.
