The scorching sun is scorching hot.

At Exit A3 of Keyuan Station of Chengdu Metro Line 5, there is a hot pot restaurant with a love freezer in front of the store, providing free ice water for sanitation workers, takeaway brothers, traffic police, etc. to relieve heat and fatigue.

To the surprise of Zhao Chunyan, the owner of the hot pot restaurant, there has been more and more water in the freezer recently. After checking the monitoring, it turned out that some enthusiastic citizens quietly put it in. "Everyone spreads love together, I'm really touched."

Merchants set up love freezers on the streets

  more and more water

On August 24, although it rained in some places in the morning, the temperature in Chengdu was still around 39°C, and the scorching sun scorched the earth.

The reporter came out of Exit A3 of Keyuan Station of Chengdu Metro Line 5 and saw a love freezer in front of a hot pot restaurant from a distance. The red background and white characters on it were very eye-catching and read "Love freezer, free to receive, sanitation workers, takeaway brothers, traffic police. , construction workers, etc. Chengdu is hot, you have worked hard."

"The weather is very hot this year. The traffic police, sanitation workers, and delivery guys working on the streets are working very hard. If you have a sip of ice water to drink, you can relieve the heat and fatigue." Zhao Chunyan, the owner of the hot pot restaurant, told reporters that this summer she placed a table in front of the store this summer. There was a freezer filled with mineral water for those in need to pick it up for free.

After that, from time to time, sanitation workers and takeaway guys came to the freezer to get water, and the clerk would come out to check whether the water in the freezer was sufficient and replenish it.

What she didn't expect was that there was suddenly a lot more water in the love freezer recently.

On the evening of August 18, the clerk found that there was an extra piece of mineral water next to the freezer. I didn't know who put it in. Then Zhao Chunyan called up the store's surveillance, and when she saw the surveillance, she was moved.

The surveillance footage showed that at around 21:00 that night, a man in white walked to the freezer, took a bottle of ice water from it, took a big sip, then returned to the car on the side of the road, opened the trunk, and took a sip from the inside. Picked up a box of mineral water and put it next to the love freezer, then returned to the car and left.

In another surveillance video, after 3 pm on August 21, a woman passed by the store, stopped in front of the love freezer, stood and watched for a while, went to the freezer to get a bottle of ice water, and then opened her own. Bao took out the money and put it in the box on the freezer where the masks were distributed for free, and turned to leave.

"There is 50 yuan in the box." Zhao Chunyan said.

In addition, on the afternoon of August 23, a man in a blue T-shirt hurried to the freezer with a piece of mineral water, put the water in the freezer and left.

Zhao Chunyan said that she didn't expect her small actions to resonate with everyone, and relaying the love together made her feel "very worth it!"

  Citizens have checked the truth

But it became the best bowl of noodles the other party has ever eaten.

In fact, in addition to the love freezer, Zhao Chunyan has already started to do public welfare.

At the entrance of the store, there are also free herbal teas for drinking, posters for free noodles, and a love rest station for sanitation workers. She has done these for three years.

The reporter noticed that there is a bus stop in front of the hot pot restaurant, and there are constantly people waiting for the bus.

While waiting for the bus, an aunt came to the free herbal tea stand and picked up a cup with a thermos.

Auntie said that she lives nearby and often takes the bus here. The free herbal tea has been served here for a long time. The weather is really hot today, so she picked up a cup by the way.

"We often pick up water and drink tea from her, and even boil soup for us to drink in winter," said a nearby sanitation worker.

Zhao Chunyan, 32, is a post-90s generation. She came to Chengdu from Dazhou many years ago to start her own business.

She still remembers that in the early days of her business, she encountered difficulties. Once, she went out to eat noodles. After paying the bill, she realized that she had forgotten to bring her mobile phone and money. She explained to the boss that she hoped to go back later and use it to make up for it.

After the boss learned about it, he directly stated that a bowl of noodles was no money.

She was touched by the help of the boss, and after returning home, she wanted to carry forward this kindness, so she started to provide free noodles and tea services in the store, "It's very convenient to cook a bowl, and it can help those who encounter difficulties. Solve the urgent needs." Zhao Chunyan told reporters that when the notice of free noodles was posted, about one person would come to eat noodles every month, and nearby sanitation workers often came to rest.

But her public welfare behavior may have also caused "questions".

Zhao Chunyan said that a citizen once came to the store and asked the waiter to cook a bowl of free noodles.

After he finished eating and left, the waiter found 20 yuan and a note at the bottom of the bowl when he was clearing the table. The note said, "This is the best bowl of noodles I have ever eaten, no one. Life is not easy, love transfer".

After learning about this situation, Zhao Chunyan guessed that the citizen should come to find out the truth.

Whether it's a love freezer, or free noodles and tea, in Zhao Chunyan's view, she just tried her best, hoping that everyone will pass on the love together, and she will continue to persevere.
