It has been five days since a 2-year-old boy went missing in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.


On the 24th, police and fire departments conducted extensive searches, mainly around his home, but so far no clues have been found.

The missing person is Reine Takashima (2), a nursery school child in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.



She disappeared shortly after 6:30 pm on the 20th of this month at her home with her mother and siblings.



According to her family, given the circumstances at the time, it is highly likely that she left by herself through the back door behind her home.



On the 24th, five days after her disappearance, 180 police and firefighters conducted an extensive search.



Of these, in an irrigation canal about 100 meters from her home, the water flow was dammed to lower the water level, and the police entered and searched.



Searches were also conducted intensively in nearby rivers, and firefighter divers were investigating underwater in the Sofa River, which is about a kilometer away from her home.



In addition, the police are collecting and analyzing security cameras around the house and video of the drive recorder of a car that may have passed in the vicinity at the time of the disappearance, but so far there are no clues. Not found.



The police will continue to call for the provision of eyewitness information, etc., and will continue the search after the 25th.
