According to the introduction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel Management Center, on the evening of August 22, the Lingdingyang project of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel made a comprehensive arrangement for personnel evacuation, cable reinforcement, equipment and dormitory reinforcement, and ship evacuation. The living area has been checked by pulling the net, and the tower cranes, crawler cranes and other large mechanical equipment, temporary electricity and containers are windproof and reinforced.
As of 4:00 p.m. on August 23, 167 offshore construction personnel and 12 construction ships had been evacuated to the typhoon-prevention waters as planned.
At the same time, the project logistics support team contacted the emergency shelter in Cuiheng New District in advance to reserve sufficient supplies to ensure that the basic life of the evacuees would not be affected.
