Within the "Summer Workshops Festival", the Emirates Fine Arts Society held a specialized group of art workshops, at its headquarters in the Arts District in Sharjah, presented by expert artists and specialists in the field of visual arts, who shared their pioneering knowledge and artistic expertise.

The association organized a variety of workshops from last July until August 23, with the aim of refining the skills of artists and exchanging experiences between different generations and from different schools.

The association’s president, Salem Al Junaibi, said: “Since its establishment, the Emirates Fine Arts Society has been keen to support and sponsor creations, in various types of activity, from public and private exhibitions, seminars and art workshops. And attracting many talented artists of different ages.

The artist, Dr. Karima Shomali, presented the lino printing workshop to a group of artists from the association’s members and a wide spectrum of participants. About the workshop, Shomali said: “The history of printing using lino appeared in 1800, and it remained one of the methods used in decorating homes and palaces, but in 1835 it entered the Plastic arts as one of the revolutionary methods in the art of printing.” Al Shomali added: “The work of lino printing is based on drawing up a diagram of the shape under study on paper with the numbering of the white and black areas. shape, bearing in mind that excavation must be carried out in the area you wish to remove.”

Shomali added: "After completing the engraving, the ink is placed on a smooth surface, and the student uses flattening and pressure on both sides of the paper after we put the carved piece of art, and in the end we get the final shape."

Artist Ihsan Al-Khatib presented a workshop entitled "Watercolors in a Contemporary Style", in the presence of a large number of artists, with whom he shared his long experience in watercolor technology. Al-Khatib mixed colors in a way that gives the viewer a broader and clearer view of the life form.

Artist Khaled Al-Banna presented a workshop entitled “Mono-Printing”, in the presence of a group of artists, with whom he shared his long experience in printing technology, and Al-Banna took the participants on an intense journey to produce works through “mono-printing”.

Meanwhile, artist Kholoud Al-Jabri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, presented a workshop entitled "Book Break", in the presence of a large group of artists, with whom various techniques participated in creating book breaks.

The artist, Nozha Moftah, presented a workshop entitled “Colored Papers”, in the presence of a variety of children, ranging in age from six to 14, who shared her long experience in mixing colors and learning collage techniques.

On the other hand, the artist Ayman Imam presented a workshop entitled "Acrylic Techniques" for a number of artists between the ages of 12 and 20, and shared with them his long experience in teaching modern techniques in acrylic.

While the artist Bassem Al-Sayer concluded the Summer Workshops Festival in the "Wire Models" workshop, which he presented to a group of male and female artists of different ages, he shared with them his experience in creating the techniques of wire models.
