"Al Qasimi Publications" issued the English translation of the historical novel "The Biography of the Sultans of Kilwa", by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to join the series of knowledge initiated by the House by translating all the works of His Highness, in order to expand for the purpose of viewing a civilized achievement that communicates with cultures and human prospects.
After the wide spread of the novel “The Biography of Sultans Kilwa” in its Arabic language in its electronic version, which reached more than ninety-five thousand readers in the first days of its launch, “Al Qasimi Publications” issued a translation of this novel into the English language, in order to allow it to be read on a wider scale.
The novel deals in an interesting and well-documented manner, with real events of the biography of the sultans of Kilwa on the eastern coast of Africa during the period of colonial expansion.
The novel consists of 114 pages divided into eleven chapters and appendices, in which the genealogy of the sultans of Kilwa and dozens of Arab and foreign sources and references. .
In this book, His Highness was able, after verification and scientific documentation, to resolve the confusion that has remained unknown for decades about the history of the Kilwa sultans, the reason for their migration and what happened to them on the eastern coast of Africa.
In investigating the biography of the sultans of Kiloh, His Highness relied on the manuscript book “Kitab al-Salwa in the History of Kiloh”, and all that was written about it, in addition to the documents and manuscripts owned by His Highness about the genealogy, ancient history of Persia, Portuguese documents, and other references and sources.
From a scientific point of view, the book demonstrates the extent to which His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi uses manuscripts, documents and references in more than one language, and the extent to which His Highness is involved in researching scientific hypotheses and verifying the validity of what is being circulated about many historical facts and events. The book’s references are evidence of the depth of the study History and importance of scrutiny and scrutiny of documents, sources and references from all aspects.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, gifted the Noble Qur’an Complex in Sharjah, a new batch of precious books concerned with the sciences of the Noble Qur’an and the Sunnah.
These manuscripts are considered among the valuable scientific and historical treasures, as they are added to the holdings of the Noble Qur’an Complex, along with the various manuscripts, books, Qurans and documents that were already there.
The Holy Qur’an Complex in Sharjah provides visitors and academic researchers with the opportunity to view the various exhibits in the complex, in order to learn about its history and conduct studies and research on it.
The new batch includes 84 books on the sciences of the Noble Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet. The batch contains the explanations of the Sana’a copy of the Noble Qur’an attributed to Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, in addition to multiple copies of the explanations of the Noble Qur’an attributed to Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him.
