The Committee of the International Center for Translation and Poetry Research in China voted, by majority, to award the Emirati poet Adel Khuzam the Best International Poet Award for 2021, for his clear contributions to enhancing the presence of poetry in the world through the ontology (World Poetry Tree), which he launched on the sidelines of the exhibition "Expo Dubai 2020", with the participation of 405 poets from the world's leading poets from more than 100 countries, including 13 Chinese poets who participated in their texts on themes of love, hope and peace.
The ontology was launched at the UAE pavilion, under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi.
