In the big family of the nursing home, what I told them, including the sign in our home, is: the old is supported, the old is dependent, the old is happy, and the old is done.
[Explanation] On August 22, in Yifu Nursing Home, Xin'anquan Town, Lucheng District, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, 69-year-old Li Sulliang was inspecting the dormitory. This was his 14th year of running Yifu Nursing Home.
[Explanation] In 2008, Li Suliang and his wife Zhou Fengqin bought an abandoned construction site with more than 500,000 yuan accumulated over the years, carried out construction and renovation, and built the first nursing home in Xin'anquan Town.

After returning from the army, I saw that our hometown was very poor. I was also a child who grew up in a mountain village. I had many sisters and brothers, so my original intention was to open a nursing home, mainly to show some love.
[Explanation] Leading the elderly to do morning exercises, helping the elderly who cannot take care of themselves, inspecting the dormitory, distributing medicines, and dealing with various problems of the elderly in the hospital are the daily work of Lao Li and his wife.
Today, there are 64 people living in nursing homes, two-thirds of them are elderly widows, and one-third are disabled and homeless.
[Explanation] In the nursing home, many elderly people suffer from various diseases such as cerebral infarction and high blood pressure.
Lao Li and his wife will regularly organize physical examinations for everyone.

Those who have minor illnesses should look at it, so that they will not be dragged into serious illnesses. People like us in the countryside are lonely and widowed elderly people without children and daughters. I have done a good job for them, so they have to find the dean every day.
[Explanation] The death of an old man in a nursing home is an inescapable thing.
It is understood that since the establishment of Yifu Nursing Home in 2008, more than 40 elderly people have passed away one after another.
Because they are mostly lonely old people, Lao Li and his wife took up their "behind the scenes".

When they were in critical condition, we sent him to the hospital in time to give them timely treatment, and when we couldn't save his last breath, we bought them old clothes and ordered coffins for them.
We can do all the procedures for burial in the countryside. When we finally took the old man home, we also held a memorial service. The old buddies, old colleagues and his friends in the whole hospital came to salute him. Bowing three times, then dismissed him smoothly.
[Explanation] After 14 years of ups and downs, the development of nursing homes is inseparable from the help of all walks of life.

Many comrades leave holidays to serve the elderly, such as haircuts, clothes changing, cleaning, cooking for us, making dumplings, and making steamed buns. Our nursing home is very supportive for the society to come to our nursing home. Satisfied, I really express my heartfelt thanks to them.
