On August 20, local time, General Shoigu, Minister of Defense of Russia, visited the China Defense Exhibition Area of the "Army-2022" International Military Technology Forum Military Equipment Exhibition.
Accompanied by Major General Wei Yanwei, the Chinese Defense Attaché in Russia, and representatives of the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission, Shoigu and other Russian officials carefully visited the Chinese defense exhibition area at the "Patriot" Exhibition Center in Moscow Region.
Kui Yanwei first extended his welcome to Shoigu and his delegation to visit China's defense exhibition area.
He said that after receiving the invitation from the Russian side, the Chinese side attached great importance to it. This time, equipment in the fields of aviation, aerospace, electronics and ships was exhibited, which was divided into six parts, including land, sea, air, electronics and information, and military vehicles. The output forms include physical objects, models, videos, etc., with a total of 83 military and dual-use products.
These products have been installed in the Chinese People's Liberation Army, or are exported, which are of great significance to improving the combat effectiveness and national defense capabilities of our army, and have received high attention and won a good international reputation both inside and outside the army.
The Russian "Army-2022" International Military Technology Forum opened on the 15th and will last until the 21st.
During the forum, 289 events will be held in more than 30 regions of Russia and at the stations of the Northern Fleet.
Military delegations from 72 countries participated in this forum.
