The road back from vacation is busy!

A peak of traffic jams of 770 km was recorded around noon at the national level this Saturday, a day classified red in the direction of returns in the Mediterranean Arc and in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, according to Bison Futé.

The day is classified red in the direction of returns, and orange in the direction of departures, except in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and on the Mediterranean Arc, where it is also classified red.

A peak of 265 km reached at 11.55 a.m. on the Mediterranean Arc, at 12.06 p.m. in the Great West and the North with 203 km and at 11.45 a.m. in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with 174 km.

On August 13, a day classified as red in both directions, a peak of 917 km had been reached at midday, including 303 on the Mediterranean Arc.

The main traffic difficulties are on the A9, A75, A7 and N165 motorways (linking Nantes to Brest), specifies Bison Futé.
