Saga Prefecture announced on the 19th that 2446 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
One infected person in their 70s and 80s with underlying health conditions has also died.
On the other hand, the prefecture withdrew the two people announced on the 18th, saying that they were false positives.
A total of 120,659 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture so far.
