In the midsummer season, under the blue sky and white clouds, Tiemenguan City, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, is full of green waves, luxuriant flowers and leaves, forests in the city, cities in forests, and mountains and waters, just like walking into a water town in the south of China.
Looking into the distance, the Jiangjun River winding through the city, dozens of bridges on the river and pavilions in the green belt are like ribbons inlaid on the long green river, making the whole city smart.
There are 20 landscape node green spaces and landscape pieces in Jiangjun River. The green area of the built-up area is 251.52 hectares, and the coverage rate and green space rate reach 43.5% and 39.3% respectively.

The name of Tiemenguan City, which was established in December 2012, comes from Tiemenguan, which is not far from the place.

On September 15, 1950, under the personal planning of General Wang Zhen, more than 1,300 officers and soldiers of the Sixth Division and Eighteenth Regiment of the Second Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army built water conservancy in the ancient wasteland.
Today, the snow water from the Tianshan Mountains flowing from Ainaizi, the south entrance of Tiemenguan Canyon, irrigates the 440,000 mu of fertile fields along the line, and also nourishes this emerging military reclamation city.
