Sharara began giving sermons and lessons in Karbala to a large group of simple commoners who were bewitched by him and his Hussainiya councils, until they reached to beg with a smear of his sweat in handkerchiefs they brought for what they believed to be the sweat of the blessing.

This prompted the Supreme Shiite Council in Beirut to intervene and clarify by issuing a statement accusing Sharara of impersonating a cleric, and the statement itself warned of what it called Sharara's behavioral deviations.

Sharara says in one of his lectures that he hates lies and fabrications, so he appeared in a video clip denying that he had said, “Young people can complicate sins day and night, so that Nazih al-Ahdab, presenter of a program on top of the authority, replied that he said this by showing Sharara a video clip in which he says, “You guys, do not be afraid.” By God, if you do something forbidden every day, Al-Hussain is present.”

In the Emirates, the Emirati singer Abdullah Al-Khair appeared while calling to God and saying that all religions are equal because they believe in God and the Last Day, and good deeds. Nazih Al-Ahdab commented that “If you do not like art, you will be satisfied with his singing to choose the lesser of two evils because he turned into a preacher at the door of Abraham’s Emirati house.” .
