In Russia, 60 forest fires were eliminated per day

“Over the past day on August 19, 2022, 60 forest fires were extinguished in Russia on an area of ​​656 hectares,” RIA Novosti reports.

It is specified that there are 54 forest fires on the territory of the country on an area of ​​75,119 hectares.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Kurenkov, said that all forest fires in the Khabarovsk Territory had been extinguished.
