He said that before 11 o'clock on the night of the 17th, the water was particularly heavy. The water on the road was about 1 meter deep, and "washed me down twice."
Fortunately, after he ran home, he found that his family was safe and was then moved away.
But the car he just bought last year was washed away by water, and the family suffered serious economic losses.
At 22:25 on August 17, a sudden heavy rainfall occurred in Datong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province, triggering flash floods, causing mudslides, and diverting rivers. 1,517 households and 6,245 people in 6 villages in 2 townships were affected.
