The 1st round of the 5th game, in which Kana Satomi, a female shogi player (30), aims to become a professional shogi player, has started in Osaka.

Attention will be paid to whether the first female professional shogi player in the shogi world will be born.

At the end of May this year, the Satomi Women's Five Crowns met the conditions for taking a "transfer exam" to a professional, such as "10 wins or more" and "60% 50% win rate" in the most recent official game, and Japanese shogi. I applied for the exam to the federation.

The "transfer exam" is a 5-game match with a 4th-dan shogi player who acts as an examiner, and if you win 3 times, you pass.

The first match starts at 10:00 am at the Kansai Shogi Kaikan in Osaka, and Kenshi Tokuda, 4th Dan (24), is playing the first move.

The Satomi Women's Five Crowns in the second half moved their steps to open the corner road, and then took the tactic of "middle rook", which is good at placing the rook in the center.

Satomi Joryu Gokan is from Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, and holds five of the women's titles: Seirei, Joryu Oza, Joryu Oi, Joryu Osho, and Kurashiki Toka. On the 15th of this month, she continues to play an active role, such as participating in a tournament for the first time as a woman to challenge the eight major titles.

In 2006, the transfer exam system for becoming a professional shogi player was established. Attention will be paid to whether it will bring a new breeze to the shogi world.
