  It's a big living

At around 7:00 a.m. on August 17, the Xuejiadao Police Station of the Coastal Police Detachment of the Qingdao Public Security Bureau received a 110 order: A woman was floating on the sea and was in urgent need of rescue.

Wang Shoude, a policeman from the Xuejiadao Police Station of the Coastal Police Detachment of the Qingdao Public Security Bureau, who was patrolling nearby, immediately led the auxiliary police, carrying rescue equipment, and rushed to the scene after receiving the order.

The rescuers were residents of Beizhuang Community, Xuejiadao Street, West Coast New District, Qingdao. At around 6 am on the 17th, Xue Hongxin and his brother-in-law Xue Wei made an appointment to go fishing in Ganshui Bay. About three nautical miles from the shore, Xue Hongxin was fishing. Saw a floating object in the distance.

"I didn't think it was a person at first, but after a closer look, I found that two eyes were blinking, and the whole person was bald with the head exposed, holding a small foam board." Xue Hongxin said.

Seeing this scene, Xue Hongxin didn't have time to think about it, and immediately called Xue Wei to help the woman in distress together.

Because the woman was soaked in the water for a long time and her body was very heavy, when the two rescued her, she was still sinking into the water.

Xue Hongxin could only hold her by the arm and her hair at the same time, trying his best to save her to the kayak, and then quickly called the police, and at the same time moved the woman to the shore.

At this time, the police also rushed to the beach, and after the two kayaks docked, the rescued woman was helped ashore.

After questioning, the police learned that the 48-year-old woman came to Qingdao alone from Beijing to travel. At 7 o'clock in the evening on the 16th, when she was swimming in the sea near the Golden Beach, she was accidentally caught by a swell. Sea.

She tried several times to swim back to shore, only to be pushed further afield by the waves.

The waves are too big

  Unable to call the police

"One night, I didn't dare to sleep. I could see the lights of the residential buildings on the shore, so I swam over there, but I couldn't swim at all." The rescued woman said that although she had a mobile phone in her bag, the force of the waves was too strong. Big, I can only cling to the foam board, I can't free my hand to call the police for help, I can only save my physical strength and wait for rescue, and I endure it like this for 12 hours.

Fortunately, she met Xue Hongxin and Xue Wei who went fishing early in the morning and saved her life.

According to the police, the rescued woman has drifted nearly eight kilometers at sea.

Because the woman usually climbs mountains, her physical strength is excellent, and she supports it until the next morning.

In addition, the waterproof bag she carries with her also plays a role in assisting flotation.

At the same time, she also encountered a foam board floating in the sea and hugged it tightly.

After the police took the rescued woman back to the house, after rest and adjustment, her body was fine.

The woman expressed her gratitude to the coast police for their timely assistance.

She said she would continue to travel alone and then left the police station.
