On February 5, 1979, in a small village in Zhuji, a pair of twins fell to the ground.

However, due to the harsh living conditions at that time, the Yangs had to give one of their children to be raised by others because of their livelihood.

For years, the Yangs have been trying to find traces of the child, but they have never heard from them.

When her daughter Fang Yuan was 18 years old, she accidentally learned that she was not born to her current parents, and she also hoped to find her biological parents.

In April of this year, Fang Yuan, who lives in Hebei, asked the local public security organ for help to find her relatives. The police entered her DNA into the national public security organ DNA database.

On July 5, the Yangs also came to Taozhu Police Station of Zhuji Public Security Bureau for help.

Yuan Yang, deputy director of Taozhu Police Station, took the initiative to collect DNA for Yang Huatian (a pseudonym, her husband) after learning about the old man's appeal, and promptly entered the DNA test material into the DNA database of the national public security organ.

Through DNA database comparison, it was found that the genetic markers detected in the blood samples of Fang Yuan and Yang Huatian were in line with the law of inheritance, and the DNA comparison of father and daughter was successful, confirming that they were related.

After receiving the news, Yuan Yang immediately contacted Fang Yuan by phone.

A few days ago, Fang Yuan arrived in Zhuji from Hebei.

Seeing their long-lost daughter, the Yang couple burst into tears.

"The night before I received the news, I couldn't believe it was true. Thank you Officer Yuan for helping us reunite." Yang Huatian said.

"I don't blame them. At that time, there were too many helplessness to make a living, I can understand." The moment she saw her parents, Fang Yuan sobbed and held their hands tightly.

More and more families have been able to reunite since the nationwide "reunion" campaign launched by the public security organs.

Yuan Yang mentioned that relatives are eternal thoughts and concerns, and the police will always implement the "people-centered" concept and make every effort to help the separated children find their way back home.
