In the process of case investigation, combined with his many years of legal case review work experience, he gave full play to his ability to grasp the procedure and entity of case evidence collection, timely summarized and reviewed case materials, put forward investigation opinions and evidence collection directions, and took the lead in completing various project report materials. Investigating cultural relic crimes is a field that Ruan Liunian has not yet set foot in.
He led the special police officers to overcome the impact of the epidemic and the high temperature in summer, went to other provinces to learn experience and sort out clues and materials, and traveled to and from multiple districts and counties in Chongqing several times to check the sites and dens where Xu gang stole, stored and sold cultural relics.
After more than a month of deep digging and expansion, the task force basically grasped the crime situation of Xu's gang.
Afterwards, the network was collected in Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guangxi. A total of 21 criminal suspects were arrested and prosecuted, 3 cultural relic criminal gangs were destroyed, 12 cases of theft and reselling of cultural relics were cracked, 2 cases of robbery of ancient tombs, and 86 cultural relics recovered. pieces.
This case is the first ministerial supervision case involving cultural relics crimes in Chongqing. It will be successfully withdrawn in April 2021 and reported to the Ministry of Public Security as a typical successful case.
Less than two months after this, Ruan Liunian received another ministerial case.
He led the team to travel to 12 provinces and cities such as Yunnan and Guangdong for many times, concatenated more than 470 cases across the country, arrested 168 criminal suspects, identified 350 million yuan involved in the case, seized and frozen assets worth more than 63 million yuan, and successfully destroyed one A huge transnational telecom network fraud gang entrenched in Southeast Asia.
