After the altercation on board a private jet that led to Angelina Jolie's split from Brad Pitt six years ago, the Oscar winner continues to press for a police investigation.

As the website Puck has now researched, Jolie is behind an anonymous complaint in April that demanded the disclosure of all documents related to the case by the American Federal Police (FBI).

The FBI had started investigations after the dispute between the actress and her then-husband.

After consulting with the federal prosecutor's office, the Californian authorities dropped the charges against Pitt at the time.

The 58-year-old Oscar winner ("Once Upon A Time In Hollywood") is said to have insulted, pushed and poured beer on the actress in September 2016 during a flight from southern France to Los Angeles while drunk.

The marital quarrel was allegedly preceded by a dispute with their adopted son Maddox, then 15 years old.

As the 47-year-old Jolie later stated, her children Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne also witnessed the attacks.

The actress ("Maleficent") filed for divorce a few days later.

The dispute over custody of the four minor children of the former glamor couple continues.
