During the operation, a total of 8,984 current criminal suspects were arrested in the province, including 517 fugitives; 3,771 cases of theft, robbery and deception were cracked, 356 criminal gangs were destroyed, and 2,136 people were detained; 391 criminal cases involving pornography and gambling were cracked. 4,572 persons involved in the case were arrested.
It is understood that the Party Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department attaches great importance to this operation, and the deployment requires that on the basis of carrying out a good summer night public security inspection and publicity and prevention operation, it is necessary to coordinate and promote special tasks such as breaking small cases and betting on pornography.
