“We shot the exteriors in Lithuania, explains Bruno Samper, because we wanted our heroine to evolve in the most realistic settings possible.

The cinematographer Feliksas Abrukauskas was inspired by the Flemish school, and more particularly by Rembrandt, to immerse the viewer in tableaux vivants whose beauty constantly surprises.
