Every day, a Frenchman tells us about his first name, what it means to him or what he says about his family's background.

Yesterday, Nora, daughter of harkis, told us that the maternity ward had chosen a very French first name for her parents, Mireille.

Today, Marine de la Moissonnière introduces us to Solie.

This 30-year-old graphic designer, who lives in Marseille, chose her own first name.

His nickname became his first name.
